How to apply to Bannu Institute of Health Sciences — the steps, the documents you need, and the form to register your interest.
How to apply
The whole process can be completed at the campus office in a single visit.
Confirm your eligibility
Check the minimum qualification for the programme you want — F.Sc. Pre-Medical for BS Nursing, Matriculation for LHV, CNA and CNW. If you are unsure, call us and we will tell you honestly whether you qualify.
Collect the admission form
Obtain the prospectus and admission form from the campus office on Kohat Road, Bannu. You can also print the enquiry form from this website and bring it filled in.
Submit the form with your documents
Return the completed form to the admission office together with the attested documents and photographs listed below. Our staff will check the file with you before accepting it.
Entry test and interview
Where a test or interview is required for the programme, you will be given the date and the reporting time in writing. Bring your original CNIC or B-Form.
Merit list and fee deposit
Selected candidates are notified by the institute. Deposit the fee as instructed and collect your receipt — always insist on an official receipt for any payment.
Registration and classes begin
Your details are registered with the Faculty of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences, and you join the session on the announced start date.
Documents required
Bring the originals for verification plus one attested photocopy of each. Files that are incomplete cannot be accepted.
- Matriculation certificate and detailed marks certificate
- F.Sc. / intermediate certificate and marks sheet (for BS Nursing)
- School or college leaving certificate
- Character certificate from the last institution attended
- Domicile certificate
- Copy of your CNIC, or B-Form if you are under 18
- Copy of the CNIC of your father or guardian
- Recent passport-size photographs (six)
- Medical fitness certificate, where required

Minimum marks, age limits and seat allocation are set for each session in line with the Faculty’s notification. The admission office will confirm the current requirements.

Is the institute recognised?
Yes. Bannu Institute of Health Sciences is affiliated with the Faculty of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences (FPMA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and is listed with an active status. You are welcome to inspect the documents at the campus office.
Can girls apply?
Yes. Female students are welcome on all our programmes, and the LHV programme is specifically for female candidates. The institute maintains separate seating and facilities for female students.
What is the fee, and can it be paid in instalments?
The fee differs by programme and is set for each session. The admission office will give you the current fee structure in writing, including whether an instalment schedule is available. Always obtain an official receipt for any payment you make.
Do you provide hostel accommodation?
Please ask the admission office about the current arrangements for students travelling from outside Bannu, as availability changes from session to session.
Is clinical training included?
Yes. Practical work in our skills laboratory and supervised clinical training in health facilities is a core part of every programme, not an optional extra.
Can I visit before applying?
We encourage it. Come to the campus on Kohat Road, Bannu, on any working day between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Bring your parents or guardian if you wish — we are happy to show you the classrooms and laboratory.
